Thirsty for women

The first condition for a desire to exist is a lack. You desire money if you lack money. The same is true when approaching a woman. The woman will scan you to find out how much you need her and paradoxically refuse you if you need too much. And the game never ends, neither after a kiss nor after marriage.

The guy who’s going to talk to the woman of his dreams is going to be awkward, maybe stutter. At first, the woman will imagine the best version of the facts “he is just nervous, he will get better”, except that he hardly gets better. With each sentence, look, crumbs of attention, the guy gets more passionate and surrenders to her more and more. In his mind, he hardly realizes how vulnerable he has become. This perception only comes with reflection. Some need minutes, others decades. But at some point everyone will see reality for what it is, no philosophy is good enough to distort reality indefinitely.

And supposing that at the first time the guy isn’t quite into her, how long until he becomes? He loses all arguments against his girlfriend and brings her flowers the next day. What is this reality in which the woman is so divine that she is always right? That it cannot be refuted or never deserve humiliation? And how cynical is the man who is always wrong? An ego trip where the guy feeds on suffering to grow. But suffering for suffering has no essence, like playing yo-yo.

The deception about how needy he was, is going to hit sooner or later. And then the difficulty is to deal with it, to incorporate the experience in a meaningful way. The process is very complicated and can break down halfway. On the journey to protect what little ego is left, he may end up mystifying the woman even more, from a super saint to a super hoe.
